Adaptogenic Iced Cappuccino
This iced cappuccino is insane…
I love my morning coffee, it’s literally what get’s me out of bed in the morning (amongst other things but coffee is definitely high on the list). I rarely drink a second coffee but the other afternoon I needed something to give me a second wind and I whipped this up. I added adaptogenic herbs to add a calming effect for the 2nd half of the day. Keep reading for how I made this delicious iced coffee!
Ingredients and tools needed:
- 2 shots of espresso - I love Blue Stone Lane’s pods for my Nespresso Machine because they’re compostable in my Lomi!
- 1 tsp maple syrup
- 1 tsp Anima Mundi Adaptogenic Herbs
- 1/2 Cup Grass Fed Whole Milk (or other milk of choice)
- Ice
- Hand mixer (this thing is so handy for mixing all kinds of stuff!)
- Hand frother for milk
Method:
- Make 2 shots of espresso and pour into glass
- Add in maple syrup and Adaptogens
- Use hand mixer to emulsify
- Add ice to almost top of glass
- Pour milk into hand frother (this makes it frothy without heating it up) and mix til frothy.
- Pour milk over ice and then top with foam.
- Add a straw and enjoy!
This is so refreshing, frothy, and most importantly delicious! I hope you enjoy it as much as I do! If you make this, be sure to tag me on Instagram @AshleyPattenPilates and/or comment below!
