January’s Conscious Covets

What a start to 2023!

January was a blink of an eye as I felt like I really hit the ground running with my to do list. I was sure to build in time for self care, rest, regeneration and more. Keep reading for what I found and am loving so far this year!

These pants were hands down one of the best winter investments I have made. They are so comfy and warm and are perfect for sliding over your leggings. It looks like they are currently sold out but sign up for when they’re back or keep searching for something similar as these are a must have if you live in cold weather cities.

I wasn’t sure what the hype was but decided to buy a pair for our family to share. These are great! First of all they don’t fall out of your ears like the little ear buds and fit your head perfectly. I actually bought these “pre owned” off Amazon and got them for $150 less. They cam in the box with all the packaging, charging cord, etc. and were in perfect condition. If you see this as an option, I would recommend based on my experience!

I am almost done with this and am really enjoying it. It’s a smart, mysterious book with characters that are complex. The story is unlike anything I have read and would definitely recommend. She also wrote the Goldfinch which I could not get into - this is different and so if you felt the same, I would still say go for it!

I got these for my husband and I in our stockings at Christmas and we love them. What is so great about them is that they don’t disrupt your circadian rhythm when reading at night before bed. They are bright enough to read your book but also dim enough that it won’t disturb the people around you.

I found these when I was in LA and fell in love. They are SO GOOD! I don’t know who carries them in NYC but thankfully they ship so I ordered their sampler pack and every flavor they sent me is delicious. If you need something delicious at the end of the day to drink that isn’t alcohol but will also take the edge off, this is your drink!

I loved this movie. First of all, Baz Luhrmann produced it so it was very visually pleasing. Second, it was so interesting to learn about Elvis’ story. You also learn so much more than just about Elvis but also about history, music, and more. Highly recommend you will not be disappointed!

I found this salad in LA at Erewhon and recreated it at home! This is a recent recipe up on my blog and is definitely in my lunchtime rotation for the time being.

Thanks for reading! I hope you feel inspired - if you check out any of these things be sure to tag me on instagram or comment below!

xx, Ashley
