Wellness Technology I Love

There is endless wellness technology out there these days.

Some of it is super helpful and some of it is totally unnecessary. Why? Because at the end of the day, exercise, eating well, drinking water (not alcohol!), spending time in nature and quality sleep are what will help you feel your best.

That being said, I use a lot of these tools on a weekly basis for general wellness and some of them even more so while training for my race. They help me do the aforementioned, better.

If you’re looking to invest in your wellness and recovery, this list has you covered with an honest review of what I think is worth it! Read all about it below.

My husband gifted me these for Christmas last year and I love them. They are so great for recovery, feel amazing, and have become an almost nightly way for me to relax and unwind while simultaneously making my body feel better. He splurged and got me the wireless ones which i recommend because you can do them anywhere in your house. We keep the charging cord tucked away and charge 1-2x a week. I used this a lot while training for my half marathon. But even if you’re not a big runner, these are great for circulation after a long day of sitting/standing/travel. Whether this is a gift to yourself or someone you love, it’s the gift that keeps on giving. Your legs will thank you!

I’ve been wearing an Oura Ring for about a year and a half now. I love the data it gives me for my sleep and recovery. It’s been a helpful guide for my training but also life to help lean into my energy levels and make appropriate choices for the day based on them. What I love most about it is that it helps me track my period. I love this because it takes the thinking out of it and helps me align my workouts and other activities with my cycle which has been super helpful. The below link will give you $40 off your purchase!

I love these headphones because the Apple Air Pods fall out so easy from my ears. This are comfortable, have great sound, and help block out the noise (literally and figuratively). I wear them for running, working, and walking around NYC.

I love this diffuser. I think of all the diffusers we’ve bought over the years, this is my favorite. Vitruvi products work better than the others too. We have 3 different styles between our bedroom, my son’s bedroom and the studio and I like this one the best because it can be cordless. It makes it easier to fill and you can move it around your home so you don’t actually need more than one. Our favorite oil to diffuse at home is Sleep because it smells so good and reminds us of bedtime. At the studio I love Pacific or Retreat - they smell amazing!

A humidifier in dry NYC during the winter is a must. It gets so dry and keeping this going really makes a difference in our sinuses and respiratory health. What I love most about this is the sleek/slim design and the fact that the bucket inside is dishwasher safe. I don’t have time right now to be hand washing humidifiers!

I hope you find this list helpful! I don’t use all of these things every day but definitely weekly. As I mentioned above, I find these devices help me get more out of the foundational pillars of health.
