October’s Conscious Covets
October is such a cozy month
It’s not been too chilly in NYC yet but I’m definitely ready for a change of season. Cozy sweaters, good books and leaning into more time at home. All month I’ll be adding what I’m getting into so keep tabs on this after you’re done reading!
What I’ve read, watched and loved:
The Shampoo Effect: Jenny Jackson - a deliciously clever page-turner that was such an easy read. It was a great end of the day, wind down book.
Strangers: Belle Burden - this was fascinatingly voyeuristic. It was sad, enraging, and so much more. It was very easy to read because I think every woman can relate to her story in some way.
Beauty Products I’m Loving:
RŌZ: Salt Scalp Scrub Exfoliating Shampoo - my new favorite for keeping flakes at bay; the salt and botanicals leave my scalp feeling fresh and my hair with the softest natural texture.
RŌZ: Foundation Mask - a nourishing treatment that strengthens from root to tip and has really made a difference in how my hair feels day to day.
What I’m Wearing:
Splits59: Stripe Crop Top and Raquel Legging - I am loving this new brand for the studio! The ribbed crop is so comfy and cute.
QUINCE: Lofty Alpaca Chunky Crew Cardigan - Frost Blue - I’ve never bought anything from Quince and the price point is great! I’d say this is a dupe of the Sezane style sweaters I love.
Commbi: Short Fur Sherpa Footbed - a cozy sherpa insert that turns my Commbi Indie Slides into fall sandals. These are SO good and easy to swap out. I love how these sandals have become year round shoes.
